To become licensed in the State of Alabama, the applicant must: be trustworthy, of good moral character, at least 19 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a permanent U.S. Citizen or legally present in the U.S. with supporting (bona fide) documentation; Not have been convicted of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude; Not have had a real estate application or license rejected or revoked in any state within that past 24 months; and, Having met the Board’s education and/or experience requirements, must pass a written examination.
