An Onsite Wastewater System Monitor is a person certified by the Arkansas Department of Health to monitor individual sewage disposal systems. Requirements: 1) Each Onsite Wastewater System Monitor who operates within the State of Arkansas, regardless of the location of his/her home office, must become registered by the Arkansas Department of Health. 2) Prior to registration, the Onsite Wastewater System Monitor must demonstrate competence to the satisfaction of the Division of Environmental Health or its authorized agent.
