Respiratory Therapists assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. They assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians. They initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures. They also maintain patient records and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. Requirements: 1) Must be at least 18 years of age. 2) Must be of good moral character. 3) Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 4) Must have satisfactorily completed training in an approved respiratory care educational program. 5) Must successfully pass the CRT Exam. 6) Must complete a criminal background check. 7) Must present undisputable identification.
