Paramedics are Emergency Medical Service Providers who administer advanced prehospital medical treatment to sick or injured persons enhancing the role of EMS as a partner in public health and community healthcare delivery. Community paramedics may perform health screenings, home inspections, and other services while in the field or in a client's home.
