Academic and Experience Requirements: Physician and Surgeon licensed to practice in California or Ph.D. in a biological or field related to genetics with specific course requirements plus two years’ in clinical genetic molecular biology in a training program approved by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) or the Canadian College of Medical Geneticists (CCMG) and two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory certified under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) supervising or performing high complexity clinical laboratory testing clinical genetic molecular biology.
