Clinical Hematologist Scientist (also known as Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologists) Application Fee: $230.00 Requirements: Official transcript with Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent major which shall include at least 25 semester or 38 quarter units in Biology including Hematology. Verification of one year clinical training or work experience in all areas of the specialty of the hematology in a clinical Laboratory that processes a certificate under CLIA for performing high complexity testing in the specialty of hematology. All documents must be sent directly to LFS from the source. Examination: Applicants must refer to the LFS website for the list of approved certifying organization examinations for each license category. Renewal: 24 units/hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. Average Time to Process Application: 150 days (5 months). Incomplete application packages may be abandoned 150 days after registration.
