An applicant may qualify for licensure by meeting the following requirements: Has successfully completed a perfusion education program with standards established by the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education and approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHE); Has completed a minimum of fifty perfusion cases after graduation from a perfusion education program; Has successfully completed the certification examination (Parts I and II) offered by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
