Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCs) in private practice must be licensed by The Idaho State Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists. Requirements for licensure include: 1) Graduating with a degree in counseling; 2) 1,000 hours of supervised counseling experience; 3) Passing a written examination. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
