Physical Therapists must be licensed by the state. Applicants for licensure must: 1.) Graduate from an accredited physical therapist program; 2.) Provide two references from individuals with personal knowledge of the applicant’s character and ability to provide physical therapy; 3.) Pass a qualifying examination. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
