Securities Investment Advisor and Securities Broker-Dealers must be licensed by the Idaho Department of Finance. Applicants for licensure must: 1.) Submit an application with required documents and fees; 2.) Meet varying capital requirments; 2.) Investment Advisors must deliver an indemnity bond of $10,000 to the Idaho Department of Financ; 3.) Principals must pass an exam. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
