Real Estate Brokers must be licensed in Idaho by the Idaho Real Estate Commission. Applicants for licensure must: 1.) Be 18 years of age; 2.) Earn a high school diploma or equivalent; 4.) Document 2 years of active real estate sales experience within the past 5 years; 3.) Complete at least 90 hours of pre-license education; 5.) Pass a national and state exam; 6.) Hold Errors & Omissions insurance; 7.) Undergo fingerprint background check. Term: Licenses are valid for two years before renewal.
