Veterinarians must be licensed by the Idaho State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Applicants for licensure must: 1.) Complete a veterinary medicine program at an approved school; 3.) Pass national and state licensing exams; 3.) Submit an application with required documents and fees; 4.) Submit fingerprints and pass a criminal background check. Term: Licenses must be renewed annually.
