Veterinary Technicians must be certified by Idaho State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Applicants for certification must: 1.) Be over 18 years of age; 2.) Complete an approved veterinary technology program; 4.) Submit fingerprints and pass a criminal background check; 3.) Pass national and state exams. Term: Licenses must be renewed annually.
