An individual who trains others in the practice and theory of barbering, which includes the application of preparations and use of mechanical devices to perform personal services such as shaving or trimming the beard; giving facials, scalp massages or treatment with oils; and cutting hair, styling, arranging, dressing, curling, cleaning, coloring and other similar work on the hair. The individual may also practice as a barber.
