To obtain licensure as a psychologist in Indiana, a candidate must: Be at least 18 years of age. Possess a doctoral degree in psychology from an institution of higher learning recognized and approved by the board. Have passed successfully the board-administered examination. Have not been convicted of a crime nor have been subject to disciplinary sanctions that would interfere with the ability to carry out professional duties. Pay all examination and application fees. Licenses are renewed during even-numbered years, subject to continuing education requirements.
