GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION ""INSTALLATION"" means the on-site work performed and operations involved in the delivery and placement of a manufactured home onto a foundation system. This definition shall include site preparation, foundation construction, underskirting and anchoring devices, together with any accessories and appurtenances specified in the sales contract and the connection of utilities. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS The applicant must attend an approved certified installer school for a minimum of fifteen (15) classroom hours. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS A fifty (50) question exam is administered by the approved school and the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Manufactured Housing Section. The applicant must record a passing grade of 70%. After testing the applicants completes an application for Certification and pays a $50.00 fee. CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (after licensure or certification) The Certified Installer shall attend five (5) class hours of approved education annually and remit a $25.00 annual fee.
