GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Tests raw milk components in order to properly determine the compensation to be paid to producers for their farm-produced milk. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS Contact the regulatory agency for applications. Examination by appointment suitable to the applicant and regulatory agency. Type examination determined by the regulatory agency, with a minimum score of 70% required for licensure. Examination fee is $7.00. Should you fail, retake by submitting reexamination fee of $7.00. Date will be set by mutual agreement between the applicant and regulatory agency. GENERAL INFORMATION for LICENSURE or CERTIFICATION There are no age or residency requirements. Health requirements would conform to established standards. License expires June 30 annually, with renewal fee being $7.00. Kentucky has no formal reciprocity agreement with any other state. CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (after licensure or certification) As required by the regulatory agency.
