- Must be a physician possessing a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana duly issued by the board. - Must be of good moral character. - Must have successfully completed no less than 6 months of training in traditional Chinese acupuncture in a school or clinic approved by the board. - Must have completed 300 credit hours of continuing medical education in acupuncture designated as category one continuing medical education hours by the American Medical Association.
