Dentist means an individual licensed by this board who engages in the practice of dentistry. A dentist may also have supervisory responsibilities of individuals who are also licensed by the board such as dental hygienists, dental hygiene therapists, public health dental hygienists, dental radiographers, and expanded function dental assistants.
