To receive certification as a Certified Stenographic Reporter, an individual must have successfully completed an approved, accredited, or recognized course of study in court reporting, and must also pass the registered professional reporter skills examination. Additionally, an applicant must pass the CSR written examination. Upon meeting these qualifications, an applicant must submit an application for certification.
