A security alarm system contractor must post a $25,000 surety bond with the Department or furnish an insurance policy in the amount of $25,000 for property damages, $100,000 for injury or death of one person, and $200,000 for injuries to or deaths of more than one person. In addition, a candidate must have the correct combination of work experience or take the exam. The fee for this license is $500.00.
