<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>A Nursery Stock Distributor is any person who is involved in: The acquisition and further distribution of nursery stock; The utilization of nursery stock for landscaping or purchase of nursery stock for other persons; The distribution of nursery stock with a mechanical digger, commonly known as a tree spade, or by other means; The solicitation of or taking orders for sales of nursery stock in the state; The growing and distribution of nursery stock or active involvement in the management or supervision of a nursery.<br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br> <br><h3>Fees</h3><br>The license fee is based on the amount of acreage on which nursery stock is held or grown. The fee is $83.00 for any amount of land up to one acre, and $3.61 for each additional acre. Licensure applications must be received prior to the beginning of distribution. If not received priorto the beginning of distribution, initial applications shall be considered delinquent and shall have anadditional late fee assessed of 25% per month.<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>A Nursery Stock Distributor license is valid from January 1 through December 31. Renewals are due on January 1 of each year.
