<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>A Race Horse Trainer’s responsibility includes the condition, soundness, and eligibility of the horses entered by the Trainer in a race. <br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br>Race Horse Trainers must be at least 19 years old to work at Nebraska racetracks. They must also be tested and approved by the Board of Stewards at all racetracks. A felony conviction may be grounds for denial.<br><h3>Fees</h3><br>License - $40.00<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>Required annually by December 31st. The renewal fee is $40.00.Fingerprints are required every 5 years.
