Applicants for Behavior Analyst licensure must: 1) Be at least 21 and of good moral character. 2) Have a master's degree from an accredited institution in a field of social science or special education. 3) Hold current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (from the BACB). 4) Pass a State Board examination. 5) Submit fingerprints for a background check. Applicants for Assistant Behavior Analyst licensure must: 1) Be at least 21 and of good moral character. 2) Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of social science or special education. 3) Hold current certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (from the BACB). 4) Pass a State Board examination. 5) Submit fingerprints for a background check.
