Must present evidence of: completion of pre-professional education consisting of 60 semester hours of college study from a New York State registered program or the equivalent as determined by the New York State Education Department; and completion of a medical program that is either: registered by the New York State Education Department as licensure-qualifying or accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and have received the degree of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or the equivalent; or complete a non-accredited medical program which consists of not less than 32 months (4 academic years) recognized as an acceptable educational program for physicians by the appropriate civil authorities of the country in which the school is located and receipt of the degree of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or the equivalent as determined by the Department.
