JOB DESCRIPTION: A Clinical Nurse Specialist is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a master’s degree in nursing that provides direct nursing care to a selected population of patients and manages the care of patients with complicated nursing problems. The APRN-CNS has clinical specialization preparation to function in an expanded role as an expert clinician in a variety of patient care settings.
