JOB DESCRIPTION: "Laboratory operator" means an individual who is in general supervision of a laboratory which performs laboratory analyses for waterworks and wastewater works and who is responsible for the accuracy of the laboratory tests and reports for the facility, but who does not operate the waterworks or wastewater works unless appropriately certified as an operator for that type facility.
