Limited permit holders take X-rays for diagnostic purposes. They work under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, such as a physician. Their duties are to take X-rays on specific anatomic areas of the human body. They are not allowed to perform contrast studies or special head studies, such as computerized tomography.
