MEDICAL LABORATORY SUPERVISOR<br><br> Provides supervision of testing personnel and reports test results. Responsible for operation in absence of director. <br><br>REQUIREMENTS:<br>Be a licensed physician or hold a Doctoral degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinial laboratory science, with 2 years climinal laboratory work experience in the area they wish to supervise<BR><BR>OR<BR>Unlimited medical laboratory tehnologist license, 4 years subsequent experience<BR><BR>OR<BR>Technologist license limited to one of chemistry, hematology, immunohematology or microbiology, 4 years subsequent experience. (License Limited.)<BR><BR>OR<BR>Special analyst license limited to one subspecialty, 4 years subsequent experience. (License limited.) <br><br>CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: <br>INITIAL SUPERVISOR'S LICENSE ONLY: 60 contact hours through professional workshops, seminars, or collegecourse work, 45 hours in management (8 through formal workshop programs).
