LICENSED REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST <br><br>A registered respiratory therapist may assume primary clinical responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including but not limited to accepting telephone and verbal orders, and supervising respiratory care technicians and respiratory care assistants. A respiratory therapist may, under the supervision of a physician, exercise considerable independent clinical judgement in the respiratory care of patients.
