With appropriate supervision, a licensed equine dental provider (EDP) may perform various tasks delegated to the EDP by a Texas-licensed veterinarian. Texas-licensed EDPs may only perform supervised, assigned dental related tasks on equine for which the Texas-licensed veterinarian has established a client-patient-veterinarian relationship.
