Individuals must complete an associate's degree, covering a set of required coursework specified for applicants, a total of 200 classroom hours of approved real estate appraisal courses, including specified courses. Individuals must also take the required examination, complete a real estate appraiser certification application, attach copies of education documentation and pay the $370 application fee.
