License: REAL ESTATE APPRENTICE SALESPERSON

A real estate apprentice salesperson is an individual who chooses to receive training in the field of real estate under a licensed broker. The purpose of the apprenticeship is to provide practical experience to persons interested in the field of real estate and who wish to receive proper training under supervision. An applicant must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Wisconsin and pass a preliminary examination covering general knowledge which shall include a knowledge and ability to read and write the English language, a knowledge of arithmetic, and general knowledge of the terminology used in the real estate business and a thorough knowledge of the rules governing apprentices. Apprentice must be under the supervision of a licensed resident broker.
