The Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) certification is a credential aimed at healthcare simulation professionals who work in an operations role. Individuals who seek the CHSOS credential include simulation technicians, simulation technology specialists, simulation specialists, simulation coordinators, simulation AV specialists, and others working in a variety of healthcare, research, academic, development, and clinical settings.

Applicants are required to participate in healthcare simulation in an educational role, possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and demonstrate two years of experience in continued use of simulation in healthcare education, research, or administration. Applicants who do not have degree can request for acceptance based work and educational experience.
