Certification: Youth Nutrition Specialist Certification

The Youth Nutrition Specialist Certification course is a comprehensive course designed for individuals who want to teach children and adolescents the skills necessary to obtain optimal health through nutrition, whether they are athletes or are seeking management of an ideal weight. For parents, coaches, personal trainers or nutrition consultants who desire healthier children and/or seek to improve their young athlete's energy, and athletic performance, the AFPA Youth Nutrition Specialist program will assist you in helping your child reach their wellness goals.

  3. The certification has a work experience requirement of more than 2 years but does not require a two-year Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree.
