Certification: Kettlebell Level 1 Instructor

This specialty certification course teaches the basics of Kettlebell training for fitness. Through the use of theoretical and practical components, participants will learn the science, fundamental grips, exercises, techniques, alignment, and safety considerations, as well as the history of the kettlebell. Basic exercises including the swing, clean, press, and snatch will be taught, along with several variations. Participants will learn how to use kettlebell movements to design safe and effective programs and workout routines for class participants and clients. This introductory course is designed for the fitness professional with a good foundational knowledge and experience of fitness and movement, and requires passing both a practical and written exam to receive ISCA Kettlebell Level 1 Instructor Certification.
