Certification: Training Ropes Instructor

This specialty certification course teaches the basics of using training or heavy ropes for general fitness and athletic training. Through the use of theoretical and practical components, participants will learn the science, fundamental grips, exercises, and techniques of training ropes exercise. Basic exercises to develop strength endurance, power, and velocity will be taught, along with several variations for partner drills and team training. Participants will learn how to use training ropes movements to design safe and effective workout routines for class participants and clients. This introductory course is designed for the fitness professional with good foundational knowledge and experience and requires passing a practical exam to receive ISCA Training Ropes Instructor Certification.
