Key skills include: adhering to motion control safety rules, performing normal startup/shutdown, operating motion control system in closed and open loop modes, performing emergency shutdown and reset, monitoring for proper operation through indicators and PC-based software, configuring for communication to PC via Ethernet, transferring programs, configuring for motor drives and limit sensors/encoders, and interpreting logic programs.
