Certification: Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease (TMOD)

200 S. College Street, #2010 Charlotte, NC 28202

The TMOD examination is comprised of the patient cases from the PAM examination that contain TMOD items. Of the 350 items that comprise the PAM examination, 100 - 120 are categorized as TMOD (Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease) items. The cases containing these items will be extracted and administered as a separate TMOD exam. In order to maintain the flow and integrity of the PAM cases, the cases will be presented in their entirety, including some items that are not classified as TMOD. Therefore TMOD candidates will be presented with approximately 108 - 132 items, but their scores will be based only on the 100 - 120 TMOD items.
