Liquefied Petroleum Gas Plumbing Service Technicians are responsible for appliance installation and interior residential plumbing only. They may be responsible for DOT and ASME cylinder delivery and placing system into service. Requirements: 1. Must be employed by a Class 3 Permit Holder. 2. Must have on-the-job training in the liquefied petroleum gas business of not less than 30 days. 3. Must have a thorough knowledge of NFPA 58, NFPA 54 and the State Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code. 4. Must attend a mandatory 40-Hour Basic LP-Gas School within one year of obtaining certification. 5. Must attend a minimum of one (1) board sanctioned safety meeting annually. Examinations and Fees: Written and Oral Examinations, License fee $25.00, Renewal fee $25.00 per year
