A Septic Tank Installer is a person who -- for compensation -- installs, alters, or repairs individual sewage disposal systems for others within the State. Requirements: 1) Each installer who operates within the State of Arkansas, regardless of the location of his/her home office, must become registered by the Arkansas Department of Health. 2) Prior to registration, the installer must demonstrate competence to the satisfaction of the Division of Environmental Health or its authorized agent. 3) An installer must attend at least one annual training course approved by the Arkansas Department of Health.
