An Air Conditioning Electrician is an individual who is limited by license classification to the installation, maintenance, and extension of electrical conductors and equipment solely for the purpose of supplying heating and air conditioning and refrigeration units. This license is mandatory. It is needed to go past the 10 feet restriction placed on HVACR license holders. Requirements: 1) Must have two years experience in wiring HVACR equipment. or 2) Any combination of experience and training, as approved by the Board, equivalent to that specified in number 1 above. 3) The experience required in number 1 above may be demonstrated by having held for two years: a HVACR electrician's license issued by an Arkansas municipality or a HVACR Class A or Class B license issued by the state HVACR Licensing Board.
