License: Licensed Social Worker

DESCRIPTION: The Colorado State Board of Social Work Examiners regulates licensed social workers and clinical social workers in the State of Colorado. Board activities include the review of licensure applications, complaints, and enforcement of disciplinary actions against violators of the Mental Health Practice Act or Board Rule. The Board is made up of seven members,three public and four professionals, who meet six times per year. For applicants obtaining first-time licensure after completing their MSW, Requires passage of the ASWB Intermediate, Clinical or Advanced Generalist exam, May be obtained for completing the required two years of post-degree supervised experience before applying for LCSW
