Backflow Assembly Testers must be licensed in Idaho. Requirements include: 1.) Possessing a high school diploma or GED; 2.) Documenting successful completion of a Board-approved backflow assembly tester training program; 3.) Passing the American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) backflow assembly tester exam. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
