To receive a Driver Education Instructor certification, an applicant must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver license, and must have taken at least 8 semester hours of driver education instructor preparation courses. Upon completing these requirements, an applicant must submit an application along with a $45.00 application fee and a certified medical examination report.
