SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST<br><br> Applies non-medical procedures for measurement, testing, assessment, prediction, consultation or instruction in relation to development disorders of speech, voice or language or oral, pharyngeal and laryngeal sensorimotor competencies. <br><br>REQUIREMENTS:<br>Be at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and satisfy education and examination requirements.<br><br>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.<br><br>EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS:<br>ASHA certified or has taken the Praxis examination in Speech Pathology with a minimum score of 600 or 162, depending on the version taken; administered by Education Testing Service, Princeton, New Jersey 08541.<br><br>CONTINUING EDUCATION:<br>A minimum of 10 hours per year of approved coursework.<br><br>RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>Every two years contingent on satisfying continuing education requirements.<br><br>PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS:<br>Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists (TAASLP)<br>P.O.
