CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY ASSISTANT<BR><BR>A chiropractic assistant may offer physical agent modalities and rehabilitation advice and services to the public, specifically and only on orders from a duly licensed physician.<BR><BR>REQUIREMENTS:<BR>Be at least 18 years of age, of good moral character, and satisfy the education and examination requirements.<BR><BR>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<BR>Must have 50 hours of instruction approved by the Board.<BR><BR>EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<BR>Completion of 1200 hours of clinical internship under direct supervision of a chiropractic physician.<BR><BR>EXAMINATION:<BR>Applicants for certification will be required to successfully complete a board-approved examination with a minimum score of seventy-five (75).<BR<BR>RENEWAL:<BR>Renewal is require every two years.<BR><BR>PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS:<BR>Tennessee Chiropractic Association<BR>2123 8th Avenue South<BR>Nashville, TN 37204<BR>Phone: (615) 383-6231
