Major requirements for new license: be 18 or older, certified completion of a barber's course or two year apprenticeship, passage of theory and practical exams, payment of $25, have no penal record, have no outstanding child support debt, membership issued by the College of Barbers and Stylist Barbers of Puerto Rico.
